  • To ensure a safe and effective treatment, I require a minimum clear space of 5 feet by 10 feet for setup and movement around the massage table. This space allows for full body treatments while maintaining proper body mechanics and client comfort.

If you're unsure whether your space is suitable, feel free to reach out—I’m happy to help you find the best setup in your home!

  • Every appointment is tailored to your unique needs, but here’s a general sense of what you can expect:

    • I typically arrive about 10 minutes before our scheduled start time to set up the massage table and create a comfortable treatment space. This allows us to begin right on time.

    • Once everything is set up, we’ll sit down and review your health history form together. We’ll also chat about your goals, preferences, or anything specific you’d like support with that day. From there, I’ll suggest a treatment plan based on what we’ve discussed, and we’ll collaborate to make sure it feels right for you.

    • I’ll then step out of the room (or the designated treatment space) so you can get comfortable on the table. Massage is most effective with skin-to-skin contact, but your comfort always comes first—you’re welcome to dress or undress to whatever level feels right for you. While you get settled, I’ll wash my hands and check in with you before re-entering the space.

    • Once you’re cozy and ready, I’ll ensure you're well-supported on the table and begin hands-on treatment.

    • When our session wraps up, I’ll gently let you know and give you a few moments to ease back into the day and get dressed. If you’re interested in aftercare, I’m happy to share simple suggestions to help extend the benefits of your massage in the days that follow.

    • Payment is processed automatically using your securely stored billing information through my online booking system, and an email receipt will be sent to you—no need to fumble for your wallet while in your post-massage bliss.

    • After packing up, I’ll quietly head out so you can continue enjoying your relaxed state

  • Yes, I do!

If you’re experiencing any pregnancy-related complications, it’s always a good idea to check in with your OB or midwife before introducing massage therapy—just to ensure it’s the right fit for you and your body.

Pregnant bodies often need a little extra support to feel fully comfortable during treatment. Since every body is different, I ask that you provide your favourite pillows or cushions from home to help us create the most supportive and cozy setup possible. This not only ensures your comfort—it also allows us to work with what already feels familiar and soothing to you.

  • Yes! For most people, its not a question of if we will experience a disability in our lifetime but rather when. If you require special accommodations in any way, please don’t hesitate to ask for them!

  • Absolutely.

Many people find that massage therapy helps ease their anxiety—but I also understand that, especially if you're new to massage, the experience itself can sometimes bring up feelings of vulnerability or discomfort. That’s completely valid.

I always remind my clients: this is your time, your body, and your appointment. I’ll check in with you throughout the session to make sure you’re feeling safe and supported, and I wholeheartedly encourage you to speak up if you need anything—whether that’s a change in pressure, a pause, a different position, or just a moment to regroup. You're in control.

  • Nope!

There are many reasons people choose not to undress for massage therapy. They are all valid!

  • Definitely.

I understand that, especially for new parents, finding childcare can be a major barrier to receiving the care you need and deserve.

You're more than welcome to have your baby or toddler in the room during your appointment. We can pause the session at any time if you need to check in, feed, or comfort them—your needs and your child’s needs are always a priority. My goal is to create a flexible, supportive space where you can receive care without added stress.

  • Nope! You don’t owe anyone a hairless anything

  • Probably!

The suitability of massage therapy after an injury or surgery depends on the specifics of the situation and how long it’s been since the event.

If you’re under the care of a doctor, it’s always a good idea to check in with them about how massage might benefit your recovery. You’re also welcome to contact me directly using the form at the bottom of this page, and we can discuss your individual circumstances in more detail.

In many cases, regular massage therapy can help alleviate the aches and pains associated with bedrest. Additionally, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is particularly effective for reducing swelling and promoting healing after trauma or surgery. It’s often a game-changer in recovery!

  • It depends!

The pressure I use is mainly guided by what I’m feeling in your body during the session. Typically, tighter muscles require more pressure to release, but I always consider the surrounding structures—nerves, arteries, veins, lymphatic vessels, etc—so that I can work in a way that’s both effective and safe.

If you have a preference for more or less pressure, please don’t hesitate to let me know! I’m always happy to adjust based on your needs, and I promise I won’t be offended by any feedback.

A good rule of thumb to consider is that if you are holding your breath and/or bracing against my pressure, it’s probably too deep.

Please note: Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) requires a very light pressure. Applying deep pressure can collapse lymphatic vessels and work against the intended therapeutic effects.

  • It depends!

Personally, I prefer silence during massage—both as a practitioner and a recipient. I find that it allows for deeper focus on the sensations of the body and helps create a more restorative experience.

However, I understand that some people feel more comfortable and at ease when chatting during their treatment. If you initiate a conversation, I’m happy to engage and likely enjoy the interaction! That said, I generally won’t start casual chit-chat myself.

Occasionally, I may ask questions about your body while I’m working—questions that are relevant to your treatment (e.g., "Do you experience pins and needles in your arms at night?" or "Does this part of your shoulder hurt when you swing a golf club?"). I believe these kinds of inquiries are important enough to break the silence for, as they help guide our session.

  • I use Biotone Cocoa Comfort Lotion in my practice. This lotion is lightweight, unscented (though it has a very faint natural cocoa scent), and paraben-free. I love that it absorbs well into the skin without leaving a greasy residue, so you can feel comfortable and relaxed after your session.

Choosing products without harmful ingredients is important to me, and this lotion has a score of 100 on the Yuka app, which reflects its commitment to safety and quality. If, for any reason, this lotion doesn’t work for you, just let me know, and we can discuss other alternatives.

  • I’m always collecting pieces of music for my massive massage therapy playlist. The playlist is a mix of instrumental and contemporary chill songs with lyrics.

Have a specific request? Let me know!

  • For sure!

I love furry friends and they’re definitely welcome in the space.

If they have a propensity to chew and/or destroy things, I’d love your help in safeguarding my shoes and supplies.

  • Absolutely!

After payment is processed, you’ll get an emailed receipt with all relevant information on it. If you have an insurance provider to submit your receipt to, you’ll find my registration number on there as well.

  • I do not!

If you have insurance for massage therapy, you will be able to submit our receipts for reimbursement.

  • Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, rhythmic technique designed to support the natural flow of lymph—a fluid essential for immune function, inflammation regulation, and the removal of waste from the body. Unlike traditional massage, MLD uses light, intentional touch to stimulate the lymphatic system and help your body process and clear what it no longer needs.

This approach is rooted in the understanding that when lymph doesn’t move well, many other systems in the body—like digestion, mobility, immune function, and even emotional regulation—can become disrupted. Supporting lymph flow can be a powerful way to help the body reset, rebalance, and return to a state of health.

MLD is especially helpful after surgery or injury, during periods of swelling or inflammation, or for those dealing with chronic pain, fatigue, or immune issues. Because it also helps calm the nervous system, many people experience a deep sense of ease and lightness after treatment.

  • Dolphin Neurostim Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) Therapy is a treatment that combines the principles of acupuncture, myofascial release, and neurology. The device delivers a gentle microcurrent to specific points on the body—similar to acupuncture points—to help relieve pain, improve circulation, and regulate the nervous system.

One of the most powerful applications of MPS is scar release therapy. Scar tissue, whether from surgery or injury, can disrupt the natural flow of energy and movement in the body. By treating scar tissue with Dolphin Neurostim, we can help soften adhesions, reduce nerve sensitivity, and improve range of motion. Many people report significant pain relief and a surprising emotional release after treating long-standing scars.

MPS Therapy can be supportive for people living with chronic pain, postural imbalances, stress-related tension, or scar tissue that may be interfering with movement and healing. It’s a gentle, non-invasive option that often blends beautifully with other hands-on therapies.
